Selling and pricing
How do I get a rate for my scrap?
Call or WhatsApp +91 79831 29840 with a photo and a rough quantity. Photographs settle grading questions far faster than descriptions, and we usually reply with an indicative range within the hour during working times. Larger or mixed lots get a free site survey before we commit to a figure.
Do you charge for pickup, labour or transport?
No. Loading labour, the vehicle and transport are included for any lot above our minimum — roughly 50 kg of metal, or any single large item such as an AC, DG set or machine. The quoted rate is what you receive per kilo, with nothing deducted afterwards.
Will the rate change when you arrive?
Not if the material matches what you described. That is the whole point of asking for photographs first. If a load turns out to be substantially different — half the copper is actually aluminium, say — we will show you why and requote rather than quietly adjusting the weight.
How long is a quoted rate valid?
48 hours from the moment we have seen the material, either in person or by photograph. That gives you time to compare with other buyers, which we would encourage.
Do you pay more for bigger quantities?
Modestly, since one large collection costs less per kilo than several small ones. Segregation moves the number far more than volume does.
Weighing and payment
How is my scrap weighed?
On a calibrated platform scale at your own site, with you present, and every line item written on a slip you keep. Truck-load quantities go over a public weighbridge and you keep both the empty and loaded receipts. If you would rather use your own scale, we will.
When do I get paid?
Before our vehicle leaves your premises. Cash, UPI, NEFT or RTGS as you prefer. Companies that need a purchase order and invoice trail first are settled by bank transfer on their standard terms.
Can I get a GST invoice?
Yes, for every business collection as standard, along with a gate pass and an item-wise weighment record. Households can have a simple receipt.
What if I disagree with the weight or grading?
Say so on the spot and we re-weigh or re-grade in front of you. Grading is done in the open with file and magnet tests available on any contested piece. If we genuinely cannot agree, set that item aside and sell the rest.
Collection and coverage
Which areas do you cover?
All of Delhi, plus Noida and Greater Noida, Gurgaon, Faridabad and Ghaziabad. Our yard is in Jaitpur, South East Delhi. For large industrial lots we travel further into Haryana and western UP — call and ask.
How quickly can you come?
Within Delhi we usually survey the same day and lift within 24 hours. Elsewhere in NCR it is typically next-day. Dismantling jobs are scheduled after a survey so we bring the right crew and equipment.
What is the minimum quantity?
About 50 kg of loose metal for a free pickup, or any single large item. Below that you are welcome to bring the material to our Jaitpur yard, where there is no minimum at all.
Do you work weekends and evenings?
Yes, and for office and mall work it is often the only window the building allows. There is no premium for out-of-hours work in our quotes.
Business, compliance and tenders
Do you handle company scrap tenders and auctions?
Regularly. We can furnish EMD, GST and PAN documentation, a company profile and references from comparable work. Email the tender document to scrapvanta@gmail.com and we will return a completed bid within your deadline.
What documentation do you provide for audit?
GST invoice, gate pass, item-wise weighment record and a material-wise summary. For e-waste, the handover record naming the authorised recycler; for batteries, the equivalent under the Battery Waste Management Rules; for used oil, the licensed handler's record.
Do you destroy data on IT equipment?
Yes. Drives are wiped to a recognised overwrite standard or physically shredded, and you receive a certificate listing each serial number. For sensitive environments we carry out destruction at your premises before anything leaves the building.
Can we set up a monthly rate contract?
Yes. We survey your waste streams, agree a rate sheet per grade indexed to a market reference, fix the collection cycle and supply segregation bins. One consolidated GST invoice per month with a material-wise breakdown.
Are you insured for dismantling work?
Yes — public liability and workmen's compensation, with certificates provided before mobilisation. Any contractor unable to produce those before starting should not be on your site.
