In short
- Free pickup — our team, our vehicle, no charge for carrying or transport.
- Digital scale at your door — you see every weight.
- Paid on the spot — cash or UPI before we leave.
- Open 7 days, 8 am – 8 pm, across Delhi NCR.
Raddi is the most common scrap in any Delhi home, and it is also where weighing is most often fudged — a hand-held balance, a quick "das kilo hai" and the deal is done.
We weigh raddi on a flat digital scale, in bundles, in front of you. Newspaper, mixed paper and cardboard are kept separate because they are different grades — mixing them is how sellers end up paid the lowest rate for everything.
What we pick up
- Newspaper
- English and Hindi dailies, supplements and old stacks of any age.
- Books & notebooks
- Old textbooks, guides, used notebooks, diaries and registers.
- Magazines & mixed paper
- Glossy magazines, brochures, office paper and printouts.
- Cardboard
- Delivery cartons, appliance boxes and packing boxes — flattened or not.
- Office records
- Old files and documents from offices (ask us about supervised disposal).
How it works
Call or WhatsApp
Send a photo of the items and your area. A rough list is enough — no need to sort anything first.
Pick a time
We confirm a slot the same day or the next, at a time that suits you — mornings, evenings or weekends.
Weighed at your door
Our digital scale, in front of you. Each material is weighed separately and the reading is shown to you.
Paid on the spot
Cash or UPI before we leave. Our team carries everything down and out — you do not lift a thing.
Why book ScrapVanta
- Grades kept separate. Newspaper, mixed paper and cartons are weighed separately — you are paid for each.
- No minimum stacks. A normal household pile is enough for a visit in most nearby areas.
- Books checked first. If you have books that someone could still use, tell us — we will point you to a better option than raddi.
- Office paper too. Bulk records and cartons from offices and shops collected on a schedule.
How to get the most for your raddi
Keep newspapers dry and away from the balcony during monsoon — damp paper weighs more but is downgraded, and nobody wants a soggy stack. Tie newspapers in bundles and flatten cartons; it speeds up weighing and keeps grades clean.
Remove plastic covers, polybags and thermocol from cartons. They are not paper and they slow everything down. That is all it takes.
Questions people ask
Do you buy old books and notebooks?
Yes, as raddi. If the books are in good condition and still useful, we will tell you — donating or reselling them may be better than recycling.
Is cardboard bought separately from newspaper?
Yes. Newspaper, mixed paper and cardboard are different grades, so we weigh and pay for them separately.
Can offices sell old files and records?
Yes. For confidential records, we can arrange for the material to be handled under your staff's supervision until it is loaded.
How often can I book raddi pickup?
As often as you like. Many households book once every month or two; offices often set a fixed schedule.
