Mixed Metal Scrap Buyers in Delhi NCR

Most real loads arrive mixed. The question is whether the buyer sorts it in front of you or just quotes one low number for the whole heap.

Quick answer

  • Rate band: ₹24 – ₹715 depending on grade, confirmed on the day you sell.
  • Pickup: free across Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Faridabad and Ghaziabad, usually within 24 hours.
  • Weighing: on your own floor, in front of you, with a written slip.
  • Payment: cash, UPI or bank transfer before the material is loaded.

Very few clearances arrive neatly sorted. A workshop lot has steel off-cuts, a couple of motors, some cable and a bin of brass turnings all in the same corner. A house clearance has utensils, an old cooler, a gate and a length of pipe.

The lazy way to buy that is to eyeball the pile, quote one blended rate and take the margin on whatever high-value material is buried in it. We do it the other way: sort into grades on your floor, weigh each pile separately, and read the totals back to you before any money changes hands.

Mixed Metal Scrap rates by grade

These are working ranges for the Delhi NCR market. Grade decides the number far more than quantity does, so the first thing we do on site is sort and identify.

What we accept

  • Workshop and garage clearances of any mix
  • Household metal — utensils, gates, grills, coolers
  • Site clearance after renovation or demolition
  • Warehouse and godown clear-outs
  • Machine shop off-cuts, rejects and swarf
  • Old furniture frames, racking and shelving
  • Motors, pumps and small machinery
  • Anything you are unsure how to categorise

How the sorting actually works

Magnet first, to split ferrous from non-ferrous. Then non-ferrous by colour and file test into copper, brass, aluminium and lead. Stainless is checked separately because a magnet alone will not distinguish 304 from mild steel reliably enough. Each pile goes on the scale on its own and the weight is written on a slip you keep.

Why one blended rate costs you money

Suppose a 200 kg mixed load contains 15 kg of copper. Sorted, that copper alone is worth roughly ₹9,000 — more than the other 185 kg put together. A single blended rate of ₹40 per kilo pays you ₹8,000 for the whole thing. That gap is the entire reason blended quoting exists.

How to sell your mixed metal scrap

  1. Send photos. WhatsApp a couple of clear pictures with a rough quantity to +91 79831 29840. Photographs settle grading questions faster than any description.
  2. Get an indicative rate. We reply with a range, usually within the hour during working times.
  3. Book the pickup. Our team reaches you with the scale, tools and vehicle. Larger lots get a free survey first.
  4. Watch the weighing. Every grade is weighed separately and written on a slip you keep.
  5. Take payment. Cash, UPI or bank transfer settles before loading. Invoice and gate pass follow on request.
Not sure which grade you have? That is normal, and it is our job rather than yours. Send photographs on WhatsApp and we will tell you what it is and what it is worth before anyone travels.

Mixed Metal Scrap — common questions

I do not know what my metal is. Can you still quote?

Yes — that is the normal case, not the exception. Send photos on WhatsApp and we will give an indicative range. Final grading happens at your site with you watching, and nothing is weighed until you agree with how it has been sorted.

Do you take small mixed quantities?

Our free-pickup minimum is around 50 kg of metal. Below that, bring it to the Jaitpur yard and we will weigh, grade and pay over the counter with no minimum at all.

What if I disagree with how something has been graded?

Say so and we move it. Grading is done in the open, piece by piece for anything contentious, and we will run a file or magnet test on the spot. If we genuinely cannot agree on a piece, set it aside and sell the rest — we would rather do that than argue.

Can you clear an entire workshop in one visit?

Usually yes, if we survey first so we bring the right vehicle and crew. Full workshop and godown clearances are quoted as a job: the metal value is set against the labour and transport, and in most cases the buy-back exceeds the cost and you receive a net payment.

One message with a photo is usually all it takes. We reply with a number, then come and weigh it in front of you.
