What we collect

Only what a pickup needs: your name, phone number, pickup address, and what you tell us about the items. If you send photos on WhatsApp, we keep those with your enquiry.

This website uses Google's advertising tag to measure enquiries from our ads. We do not sell data to anyone.

Why we collect it

To arrange and carry out your pickup
To issue bills and weighment slips to offices and shops
To keep records required for e-waste and battery recycling

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent or trade your details
We do not pass your number to other scrap dealers
We do not send marketing messages you have not asked for

Your data on devices

Please wipe phones, laptops and computers before handing them over. If a device does not work, we can remove the hard disk or memory card in front of you so you keep it. We do not access data on devices we collect.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a pickup are deleted within a year. Transaction records are kept as long as Indian tax law requires.

Your choices

Ask us to delete your details at any time — email scrapvanta@gmail.com — except where a record must be kept by law.
