Aluminium looks the same to most people whether it came off a window frame or out of a lathe. To a smelter it does not: alloy, coating and contamination decide what the material can be remelted into, and that decides what it is worth.
We buy every grade, but we price them separately. A load of window sections with the rubber gasket and screws still in it is worth less than the same sections stripped clean, and we will tell you that before we weigh rather than after.
Aluminium Scrap rates by grade
These are working ranges for the Delhi NCR market. Grade decides the number far more than quantity does, so the first thing we do on site is sort and identify.

Fabricators and site contractors
Aluminium fabrication units in Mayapuri, Wazirpur and the Faridabad belt generate section off-cuts continuously. We run monthly and fortnightly collections against a fixed rate sheet so the material never piles up in the yard and the pricing does not have to be renegotiated every visit.
Why turnings are priced lower
Machining swarf carries cutting oil and moisture, and the fine particles oxidise quickly. Smelters lose a meaningful share of the charge to burn-off. We take turnings gladly but we weigh them as they are and quote a rate that reflects the recovery, rather than quoting high and deducting later.
How to sell your aluminium scrap
- Send photos. WhatsApp a couple of clear pictures with a rough quantity to +91 79831 29840. Photographs settle grading questions faster than any description.
- Get an indicative rate. We reply with a range, usually within the hour during working times.
- Book the pickup. Our team reaches you with the scale, tools and vehicle. Larger lots get a free survey first.
- Watch the weighing. Every grade is weighed separately and written on a slip you keep.
- Take payment. Cash, UPI or bank transfer settles before loading. Invoice and gate pass follow on request.

What is the aluminium scrap rate today in Delhi?
Clean extruded section typically runs ₹168–190 per kg, utensil grade ₹138–158, and turnings ₹95–125 depending on oil content. These move with LME aluminium, so treat them as indicative and confirm on the day.
Should I remove the rubber gasket and screws from window sections?
If you have the labour, yes — clean section earns roughly ₹15–20 more per kilo than the same material with gasket, glass beading and screws still attached. For a large fabrication clearance the difference is worth the afternoon it takes. If you would rather not, we buy it as-is at the coated-section rate.
Do you buy aluminium mixed with iron, like window frames still in the wall?
Yes, but that is a dismantling job rather than a scrap purchase. We survey, quote a removal-plus-buy-back figure, take the frames out cleanly and set the aluminium value against the labour cost. See our dismantling page for how that is priced.
Is ACP (aluminium composite panel) worth anything?
Yes, though less than solid sheet — ACP is aluminium skin bonded to a plastic core, so recovery is roughly a third of the panel weight. We buy it by panel weight at a rate that reflects that. Large façade removals are worth quoting as a project.
