Plant & Machinery Buy-Back

An idle machine has two possible prices. We check the higher one before quoting the lower one.

In short

  • Free survey before we quote anything — we do not price a job from a photograph.
  • Two figures, shown separately: the cost of the work and the value of the material recovered.
  • Our own insured crew, equipment and vehicles. Nothing subcontracted to a team you have not met.
  • Full documentation: method statement, insurance, weighment records, gate passes and GST invoice.

Machinery that has stopped earning still occupies floor space, still appears on the fixed asset register, and still loses value every quarter it sits there. But a machine sold as scrap when it had resale life left is money thrown away, sometimes a great deal of it.

We assess every machine for resale before quoting it as scrap, and we pay whichever figure is higher. A serviceable lathe, compressor or injection moulding machine is worth multiples of its melt value, and we have no interest in pretending otherwise.

What the scope covers

Machine tools
Lathes, milling machines, grinders, drills, CNC machines and press brakes.
Presses & forming
Power presses, hydraulic presses, shearing and bending machines.
Moulding & extrusion
Injection moulding machines, blow moulding, extruders and ancillaries.
Motors & drives
Induction motors, gearboxes, VFDs and drive assemblies of every rating.
Compressors & pumps
Screw and reciprocating compressors, air dryers, process and vacuum pumps.
Complete lines
Entire production or packaging lines bought as a unit and removed as a project.

How the job runs

Send the nameplate

Make, model, capacity, year and a few photographs. That is enough for an indicative figure without anyone travelling.

Inspection

For anything substantial we come and see it run if it still runs, or check condition if it does not. Resale value depends heavily on that.

Two quotes

Resale figure and scrap figure, side by side. You take the higher, and you can see why it is the higher.

Removal

De-installation, rigging, loading and transport by our crew. Foundation breaking where required. Payment settles before the machine moves.

How it is priced

We quote two numbers and keep them separate: what the removal costs, and what the recovered material is worth. Blending them into one figure hides which side of the trade you are on. Where the material value exceeds the removal cost you receive a net payment; where it does not, you pay the difference and nothing more.

Nothing is added afterwards for labour, transport or disposal. If the survey missed something genuinely unforeseen we come back to you before doing the work, not after.

Working to a deadline? Tell us the date on the first call. It is the constraint that shapes crew size, sequencing and whether the job is achievable at all — and we would rather say no early than miss it. Call +91 79831 29840.

Questions we get asked

How do you decide between resale and scrap value?

Age, make, condition, whether it still runs and whether there is a live market for that model. A ten-year-old branded compressor in working order has real resale demand; a forty-year-old bespoke machine with no spares available usually does not. We tell you which case yours is and pay the higher figure either way.

Do you buy machines that do not work?

Yes. Non-working machines are bought at scrap value based on their metal content, with any salvageable motors, drives or controls valued separately. Even a seized machine has meaningful weight in cast iron and steel.

Who handles de-installation and rigging?

We do. Chain pulleys, skates, forklifts and, where needed, a hydra or crane. Foundation bolts cut and plinths broken out if the scope calls for it. That is included in the quoted figure, not billed on top.

Can you buy an entire production line?

Yes, and buying it as a complete line often pays you more than the sum of its parts, because a working line has resale value that individual machines lose. Send us the line list and we will quote it as one project.

Need plant & machinery buy-back? Start with a survey.

Tell us the site, the scope and the date. We will come and look, then give you the removal cost and the buy-back value side by side.
